How to use our mixed-age Geography scheme of work:

For schools with mixed age classes, we have adapted the scheme so that the Year 3 and Year 4 blocks can be used on a two-year cycle.

In the first year of the cycle, all pupils in Year 3 and 4 will follow the Cycle A blocks of lessons.

In the second year, all pupils in Year 3 and 4 will follow the Cycle B blocks of lessons.
This ensures that children do not repeat any of the blocks during KS2.

Geography Scheme | Year 3/4 | Cycle B | Block 3: How Can we Plan for the Future? | Lesson 6: How Can we Use Land in the Future? is the sixth lesson in cycle B, block 3 for Year 3/4 and covers settlements and land use. The blocks are designed to be taught in order, but can be re-ordered according to your own school curriculum.
