Year 1 telling the time worksheets
Use this Year 1 | Clock Labelling Activity to help children understand how to tell the time, all aligned with the year 2 national curriculum expectations! Great for reinforcing what each number means on a clock as it can be quite tricky.
How to use
– Label the clock face with all of the correct numbers.
– Cut out the big hand and small hand on this sheet and label each one. Which one is the hour hand and which one is the minute hand?
– Stick both hands on to the middle of the clock face. (You can use a paper fastener, pencil or pin to make them spin around.)
– Call out a time, and ask children to make that time on their clocks, then show it to you – for assessment and consolidation.
