Make phonics super fun with our Phase 3 Car Park Phonics Game! There are loads of ways to use this game both in your classroom teaching and in continuous provision. Here’s how:-

• use as part of your teaching input by calling out a sound and asking each child in turn to “park” their car in the right spot.
• Have children work in pairs where each child calls out a sound, and their partner parks the car.
• Call out, or write out, a series of words and ask children to read the words to each other and park the car in the corresponding sound “space”.
• Have in a car park continuous provision set up and ask the children to use the car park in any way they choose!
