In this block – Nursery Maths Block 8: Explore Position and Space – you will complete the following small steps; respond to simple language of position, arrange blocks in a chosen position, select shapes for a space, recognise when 2 objects are the same shape, explore and describe shapes and objects, sort shapes and objects into simple categories,
– Use with children aged 3-4.
– Covers all mathematical aspects of the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework by following White Rose small steps.
Each block is designed to be taught over two weeks, averaging 3 lessons a week to ensure coverage across the year. However, we understand that each and every setting is totally unique so you may choose to teach more one week and less the next. Though we strongly suggest that these are taught in sequence.
