In this block – Nursery Maths Block 5: Begin to Order Number Names – you will complete the following small steps; Model saying 1,2 and 3 in play, copy the sequence of 1, 2 and 3, copy fingers to represent 1, 2 and 3, begin to count actions, say number names in order, begin to recognise that anything can be counted.
Contains comprehensive lesson plans with key questions, stem sentences and continuous provision learning opportunities. Slides, games and activities.
– Use with children aged 3-4.
– Covers all mathematical aspects of the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework by following White Rose small steps.
Each block is designed to be taught over two weeks, averaging 3 lessons a week to ensure coverage across the year. However, we understand that each and every setting is totally unique so you may choose to teach more one week and less the next. Though we strongly suggest that these are taught in sequence.
