My name is Heather, I’m the founder of Mrs Mactivity and a qualified primary school teacher, with time spent teaching across all age ranges – including a stint in Japan. I’m also an experienced educational publisher and have held senior roles at both Twinkl and Kapow Primary.
Outside of work I’m the proud owner of a handsome Labrador called Loki and mum of 3.
As a teacher and parent, I understand how valuable your time is. I spent countless hours searching for meaningful activities or creating my own, but often nothing quite fit or was affordable. That’s why I founded Mrs Mactivity: ‘not just a website’, but a community and platform filled with quality, easy-to-use materials I’d be proud to use in my own classroom.
Seven years later, we’ve built a team of passionate subject-specialists and designers who help create engaging, curriculum-aligned schemes and resources that save teachers time and improve pupil outcomes. Our affordable memberships are designed to give both individual teachers and schools great value, with new resources added weekly.
We’re proud of our work, but what really matters is that teachers love what we do:
“I’ve been a member of Mrs Mactivity for a few years. The resources are second to none, child-orientated, and cover all year groups and topics. Always grateful. Thank you!” – Joan Dawson, Teacher
From maths schemes to phonics, topic resources to continuous provision ideas, we have thousands of resources designed to make teaching easier and more effective. Sign up for a free trial today to see for yourself!
