Phase 3 letter formation resources

Help children get to grips with phase 3 phonics with our Phase 3 Letter Formation Practice Sheets – Robot Themed. These handwriting practice sheets are brilliant for children learning phase 3 phonemes as a way to consolidate phonics knowledge and learning.

This resource is contained in a zip pack and contains both the unjoined cursive and precursive (without lead-ins) version. Guidance on the phonics validation from the DfE recommends introducing children to letter formation without the lead-ins.

You can also use these letter formation sheets at home as a parent with your own child – they are suitable for ages 4-6, or with older children who need a little extra practice.
